Alice Louisa is an artist, activist and community arts facilitator from Southampton. Her practice primarily consists of photography, research and creative direction. Alice’s work is shaped by her upbringing and addresses themes of class, identity and social issues. She’s interested in the political potential of art and often uses humor and fantasy to explore this.
She's worked collaboratively with communities through workshops; these groups include youth groups, community organisations, environmental groups women's refugees and schools. Her work has been supported by 'a space' arts and she is a member of ZEST Collective.
Her work has been featured in HUCK Magazine, Polyester Magazine and Artists Responding To.
